Create your first S3 bucket (how to) with iCTPro
Prerequisite
AWS Account
Access to create S3 bucket
- Login to AWS account and navigate to S3.
2. Click on to ‘ Create bucket ‘
3. Enter your Bucket name and choose your region.
Make sure your bucket name is unique.
4. Bucket Versioning, click to enable if you wish to have a version control system to this bucker ( Good Practice). It helps in keeping multiple variants of an object in the same bucket. You can use versioning to preserve, retrieve, and restore every version of every object stored in your Amazon S3 bucket. With versioning, you can easily recover from both unintended user actions and application failures.
5. Give tags and Enable encryption if you want, we will just give tags for now which makes our life easier in the future. Keep everything the same and Click on to
